where eating like a pig is not out of place

As winter begins, we'd like to share a recent adventure to a local pizza farm before temperatures dropped. Two Pony Gardens in Long Lake, MN helped us continue our tradition of an annual pizza farm trip. Two Pony Gardens makes sure to mix in some local ingredients for an added pop of freshness, and provides a unique, outdoor experience we expect from a pizza farm. See our review below, and try your best to look forward to warmer times so you can visit a Twin Cities metro pizza farm yourself

Cheese

Highlights: great flavor from the cheese blend
Lowlights: bland everywhere else, too greasy

Sausage

Highlights: better seasoned than cheese only because of the sausage
Lowlights: still a little bland

Sausage and Apple

Highlights: the sugar in the apples helps pronounce the cheese and sausage flavors and elevate them
Lowlights: not every slice had apples

Cheese and Apple

Highlights: the sugar in the apples helps lift the muted flavors in the cheese
