Pizza is the Pryes

We stop near the Mississippi River for three of Pryes Brewing's pizzas. Beer isn't the only thing made on site. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven, and served tableside in a steel pan

Meatball

Highlights: good taste and texture

Lowlights: poor presentation, horrendous handling as toppings slide off

Garlic Sausage

Highlights: excellent texture, good presentation, flavorful ingredients

Lowlights: excessive amount of onions so lacking flavor balance

Calabrian

Highlights: delicious toppings, great texture and taste

Lowlights: extremely poor handling because the toppings don't adhere
